Kubernetes Isn't Huge
Kubernetes - We’ve all heard of it - It orchestrates our docker containers, it’s the next big thing that will run all our software more flexibly, sharing hardware more effectively than virtual machines, but when it comes down to it, unless you want to run on someone else’s cluster (which may not play nicely with corporately sensitive data, personally identifiable information privacy etc), then suddenly there’s very little help. How, exactly, do you install a “standard” build? Or even a “non-standard” build? What is “standard” anyway? Once you have your cluster, what then? How do you run applications? How do you make them available? What happens when they aren’t available? How do you scale out - that’s a big feature of Kubernetes but it’s not always obvious how to make use of it, or even what it means in the context of a given workload?
The Shards Call
The world of tabletop roleplaying games thrives on storytelling, immersive settings, and unforgettable adventures. As an author deeply passionate about both fantasy storytelling and gaming, I wanted to bring the world of Whispers of the Underdark to life in a way that would engage players and Dungeon Masters alike. That’s why I’ve created a free D&D mini-adventure—a 3-location one-shot that plunges adventurers into the mysterious depths of Brynrun’s Tower and beyond.
Unveiling the Shadows
In a world where light and darkness wage an eternal battle, where secrets lurk beneath the surface of reality, Whispers of the Underdark takes readers on a journey through a realm of intrigue, power, and survival. This book is not just another fantasy novel—it is an exploration of the unseen, the unheard, and the untold.
What The Heart Thinks
I started writing poetry about 10 years ago, at a time when I found I had thoughts in my head that I really needed to get out.
Whispers of the Underdark
In the sprawling, tumultuous world of the Sword Coast, whispers of unrest ripple through bustling cities, remote villages, and shadowy wilderness. A mysterious shard, unearthed in a forgotten crypt, begins to weave its malevolent influence across the land, sowing chaos and despair. Ancient artifacts of immense power are rumored to be linked to this shard, their origins shrouded in forgotten lore. To uncover the truth and confront the encroaching darkness, five unlikely heroes are thrust together, bound by circumstance and an uncertain destiny.
